01. The Challenge

CJ approached us with the need to produce a compelling five-part docu-series that would resonate with a young audience and encourage them to consider careers outside the mainstream. The challenge was not only to create engaging content but also to ensure that it effectively communicated the message of exploring alternative job opportunities. Given the importance of the subject matter, the docu-series needed to be both informative and inspiring, while also maintaining a high production value to captivate its target audience.

The project required careful planning and execution, from scripting to post-production. The content had to strike a balance between being educational and entertaining, ensuring that it held the viewers' attention while delivering the key messages. Additionally, the series needed to be distributed across multiple social media platforms to maximise reach and impact, making the coordination of the release schedule a critical aspect of the project.

02. Our Involvement

Our team at Staunton, Scale collaborated closely with CJ to bring the docu-series to life. The process began with extensive strategising sessions, where we worked together to define the vision, goals, and key messages of the series. We developed detailed scripts for each episode, ensuring that the content was engaging, relevant, and aligned with the objective of inspiring young people to explore new career paths. Throughout the scripting process, we maintained close communication with CJ to ensure that the final product would meet his expectations and resonate with the intended audience.

Following the scripting phase, we coordinated the shooting schedule, working with CJ and other stakeholders to capture high-quality footage. Our team then took the raw footage and meticulously edited it to create cohesive episodes that flowed seamlessly and maintained viewer interest. We also incorporated various production elements, such as graphics and music, to enhance the overall viewing experience. Finally, we devised a comprehensive scheduling plan for the series' release across social media platforms, ensuring that each episode was launched at the optimal time for maximum engagement.

03. The Result

The successful execution of the project over a three-month period resulted in a docu-series that not only met but exceeded expectations. The series garnered significant attention on social media, leading to high levels of engagement from the target audience. Young people were inspired by the content, as evidenced by a notable increase in applications for job roles that were featured in the series. The project also demonstrated the power of socially-focused campaigns in driving meaningful change, particularly when led by a trusted figure like CJ.

Moreover, the docu-series has laid the groundwork for future opportunities, with discussions already underway for potential continuation or related projects.
